Brief Description:

Presentation of the Wright Brothers Master Pilot Award to Mr. Harold Dean Burtzloff. “The Wright Brothers Master Pilot Award is the most prestigious award the FAA issues to pilots certified under Title 14 of the Code of Federal Regulations (14 CFR) part 61. This award is named after the Wright Brothers, the first US pilots, to recognize individuals who have exhibited professionalism, skill, and aviation expertise for at least 50 years while piloting aircraft as "Master Pilots". “ Congratulations to Mr. Harold Dean Burtzloff!

This will be followed by a presentation and discussion of two documents “Greater Tucson Practice Areas” and “KTUS Safety Brief” which can be found below as Additional Event Documents.

Directions to Venue:

From Moore Road, between La Cholla and La Canada, turn north on North Tailwind Drive. Turn East on Cessna Way and proceed to parking near the meeting room. Upon turning onto Tailwind Drive, you are in a Private Residential Air and Equestrian Park. Please exercise extreme caution, yielding to aircraft and horses your entire route. Visitors must remain off and clear of the runway. Prior permission is required for landing at La Cholla Airpark. Guests of home owners and transient aircraft MUST complete a form to receive permission to land at La Cholla Airpark. (57AZ)
