Title:
Harrisburg Pilots Meeting
Topic:
Flight Instructor Open Forum: The Risk-Based Flight Review
Speaker(s):
Heskel Burnstein, FAASTeam Lead Representative
Brief Description:
The flight review is a golden opportunity for the flight instructor to help mold safer pilots, improving the accident rate (and in particular, if properly conducted, reducing loss-of-control accidents). It is often the only opportunity that CFIs have to interact with those pilots flying for recreation and business purposes under Part 91. In this seminar we will discuss conducting a flight review that meets the particular needs of the pilot, including their flight experience, the type of aircraft they fly, and the types of airspace in which they operate.
This is a Flight Instructor Open Forum, but all pilots are welcome!
