Brief Description:
This year, the Mesa Police Aviation Section has partnered with the FAA Safety Team to provide free safety training, in addition to an opportunity to connect with fellow aviators. A great opportunity to share best practices and learn strategies for mitigating risk. You can also visit the onsite industry booths.
Local DPE and Boeing Test Pilot Scott Tinnesand will present on "Common Issues/Misunderstandings During Rotorcraft Practical Tests and Other Safety-related Helicopter Topics"
Also, John Nunes will present on UAS/Drones Safe Operation in the National Airspace System and coexisting with rotorcraft.
Seating is limited; YOU MUST REGISTER ON FAASAFETY.GOV BY MARCH 13 so that we have an accurate headcount for catering!

If you plan to drive-in, exit Greenfield Rd. from the Red Mountain Loop 202. Drive south on Greenfield Rd., turn west on Virginia which turns into Norwalk and Quenton Drive; continue to the Mesa Public Safety Training Facility entrance on Quenton Drive.
