Title:
CFI Open Forum - Flight Review
Topic:
Conducting a Comprehensive and Thorough, Risk-Based Flight Review
Date and Time:
Thursday, November 30, 2017, starting at 18:30 Pacific Standard Time Download Calendar File
Speaker(s):
Steve Nelson - FAA Program Manager / SAN FSDO
Brief Description:

The flight review is a golden opportunity for the Flight Instructor.

Virtually every pilot will need a flight review at least once every 24 calendar months.  It is also an opportunity to help mold safer pilots.

As you know, safer pilots will improve the accident rate and in particular, if properly conducted would reduce the amount of LOC-I accidents.

Perhaps the most important point to make is that this might be the only chance that CFIs will have the opportunity to interact with those pilots that tend to shun recurrent training.

Join us in the discussion of this important topic.

Flight Instructors, Ground Instructors, Designated Pilot Examiners, and Instructors in training are welcome and encouraged to attend.
