Brief Description:

Columbus Air Traffic Control provides invaluable services to central Ohio IFR (and VFR) pilots. This presentation will highlight the functions and operations of the Columbus TRACON and ATC. Emphasis will be placed on its structure, operational considerations, common mistakes that instrument pilots make that impact ATC, and procedures pilots can execute to better interact with ATC. David Neef, Columbus TRACON operations manager and 33-year veteran of ATC, will be our featured speaker. Whether you are studying for your instrument rating, already possess your instrument ticket, but are still curious about the functions and operations of the TRACON and ATC, this seminar is for you!  Q & A and group discussion will be integrated into the presentation.
