Brief Description:

The presentatrion will acquaint the audience with the elements and benefits of survival knowledge, survival equipage, and training.  Audience participation and input will be encourged.  Finding yourself on the ground in a survival situation can happen quickly. Coping successfully requires knowledge, discipline and planning.  Come prepared to share your preparation to survive following an unplanned off airport landing.

General Aviation Joint Safety Committee has determined that a significant number of general aviation fatalities could be avoided if pilots were better prepared and equipped to survive forced landings.  Survival training is strongly recommended as is carrying appropriate survival equipment on board the aircraft.
