This FREE PUBLIC MONTHLY (3rd Wednesday) meeting is intended to help improve your success when operating small Unmanned Aircraft safely in National Airspace System.
This interactive presentation is designed for both new and experienced drone pilots. Whether you just got your first Phantom or are flying large rigs with expensive cameras, you are guaranteed to come away with information that will make you a safer pilot. Core concepts include aeronautical decision making, crew resource management, onsite risk mitigation, taking control of your situation, and small changes to your operations that will make a big difference. We will discuss how practice makes perfect and how to develop skills that can safeguard the public and your aircraft. This is a must attend for any serious sUAS pilot or anyone with the aspiration of becoming one.
Ample time is provided for Question & Answers. Resources and handouts available.. FAAST Representatives are volunteers only and DO NOT establish FAA policy.
Part 101 Recreation / Hobby , Part 107 Commercial, Part 48 Registration & Part 91 General FAA Rules covered. Yes, this includes RECREATION, COMMERCIAL, & PUBLIC sUAS, R/C Operations.
