In this presentation, Pete Gillies, the guru of autorotations, will give a rousing presentation on his technique for entering autorotation quickly after an engine failure. Pete, of Western Helicopters, has spent decades training student and professional pilots on the techniques and finer points of handling emergency situations in helicopters. Many of his students have used these techniques to survive the worst that can happen to a pilot.
