Additional Event Information & Acknowledgement of Industry Sponsor(s):
American Aircraft Maintenance and Orange County Flight Center proudly sponsor and host this event. The concern is that with fledgling and seasoned pilots alike, often times when they are readying the aircraft for flight, they are unfamiliar with maintenance records and the importance of being able to understand them. This seminar covers the importance of proper aircraft record keeping and entries, who is responsible for aircraft airworthiness, what you should expect your mechanic to do and to document during an annual (or condition) inspection and during unscheduled repairs or maintenance. There will be examples of questions that you should ask your mechanic both before and after maintenance is performed. We will also discuss what other documents you should keep in your aircraft's records. During a post maintenance preflight what do you look for and where do you look? You have a maintenance provider you frequently use but sometimes the technical staff changes, should this change how you preflight your aircraft? These questions will also be addressed.
