Brief Description:

The New Mexico Pilots Association (NMPA) promotes back country flying and strives to increase recreational and backcountry flying opportunities in New Mexico.  This update covers available safety resources for accessing these recreational airstrips. 

Highlights include progress resulting from partnering with the Recreational Aviation Foundation (RAF) and the New Mexico Airstrip Network (NMAN), including the USFS, BLM, NMDOT Aviation Division, NM Council of Outfitters and Guides, NM Economic Development, and other state agencies and aviation organizations.
