It is hard to imagine losing control of an airplane in flight, but far too frequently that is exactly what happens and usually with serious results. Most loss-of-control accidents are fatal. These accidents happen in both VFR and IMC conditions, during the day and at night. They are not limited to inexperienced or VFR only pilots. At this informative briefing, we will discuss strategies to help you prevent losing control.  We will also review some of the safety enhancements recommended by the General Aviation Joint Steering Committee (GAJSC) Loss of Control Work Group.  You will be given the opportunity to discuss several pertinent case studies with the group.  Click the  link below and register TODAY!

A Loss of Control (LOC) accident involves an unintended departure of an aircraft from controlled flight. LOC can happen because the aircraft enters a flight regime that is outside its normal flight envelope and may quickly develop into a stall or spin. It can introduce an element of surprise for the pilot.
