Brief Description:

John Sibole, the FAA Safety Team Program Manager for the Harrisburg FSDO and ATP/CFII/helicopter pilot will discuss the basic aerodynamics and construction of helicopters, as well as unique safety issues in flying them. We will also address their potential hazards to others, including rotorwash affecting airplanes and dangers to persons when on the ground.

Eric Sieracki, the FAA Safety Team Program Manager for the Philadelphia FSDO will present the Ramp Inspection seminar, which is designed to give pilots an idea of what to expect, and how the process works, if approached by an FAA Inspector while out and about.  Additionally, it will provide the pilot with an insight of the purpose of a Ramp Inspection and what an FAA Inspector is looking for during the Ramp.
