This seminar will cover the significant differences between the ‘old’ and ‘new’ flight plans and how to get up to speed in using the new form.

Equipment codes, departure, destination and alternate airports and route formats are now different from the previous plans.

Explanation of VFR and IFR plans and how to submit them with commonly used services such as AOPA Flight Planner, 1-800-wxbrief and ForeFlight are included.

Some examples are provided, so if you file using a smart phone, tablet or laptop, bring it along and get familiar with the new system.
