Title:
How to Act When No One is in the Tower
Topic:
Non-Towered Airport Operations and Procedures
Brief Description:
Did that pilot just cut me off? We've all had it happen, whether we were cut off or we inadvertently cut someone else off. Join FAA Safety Team (FAASTeam) Representative and CFI, Jason T. Archer for an exciting and informative seminar on best practices for operating at non-towered airports. What are the recommended and required procedures for entry and exit? How do we communicate effectively into and out of the pattern? Using personal stories, case studies and an interactive discussion (yes we want to hear your stories as well) we’ll talk about the does and don’ts. In addition, we’ll talk about what to do when an incident does occur. Join us to a for this informative and lively presentation.
