Brief Description:

Operations in the backcountry require a unique set of skills.  The backcountry often has shorter strips in confined areas. It requires a departure from what many of us learned in primary training. An in-depth look at how a different style of arrival is used to generate a precision approach to exact spot and a short rollout.  These lessons can be used whether you are looking to dip your toe in the backcountry and start exploring recreational airstrips or if you just want to become a safer more precise pilot.
