Title:
Anatomy of a Spin - 13 inches between life and death
Topic:
Advanced discussion focusing upon learning more about how the Flight Controls work in a Spin.
Speaker(s):
Ron Berinstein
Brief Description:
Designed to help make and keep you a safer pilot, and help keep you from misusing the flight controls and, "crossing the line wherein no recovery is possible."
Spins may be the most recognizable of any flight maneuver yet devised, but they also may be the most misunderstood, as hands on spin training isn't part of the PTS for private and commercial pilots.
The Aerodynamic Forces involved are more commonly visible, but in a spin they are balanced by Inertial Forces; a topic that few folks ever address. We'll explore the structure of spins; Upright & Inverted, and try to give proper attention to the way our flight controls might work in various spin scenarios.
This seminar is from Ron Berinstein, and tonight will be the debut in this area.

This presentation might help you to be prepared for challenging circumstances.
This discussion is part of a continuing exploration of Spins and the way they impact Pilot Safety. It should be no secret that Loss of Control is Aviation's Biggest Threat, and that most unanticipated Spin Departures are Fatal.
Subsequent conversation can address the most deadly reasons Spin Occur, Rolling Upsets, The Value of Emergency Maneuver Training, Spin Avoidance Technique, and Spin Recovery Procedure, but the primary focus of this seminar is to attempt to define the spin.
Why Not Be Prepared?
As usual, lots of Video explanations, and graphics that will help illustrate the topics, and everyone will be able to take an active role in this exciting attendee participation oriented evening.
