9:15: BasicMed and You, presented by Dr. Phil Stover, Senior AME. Congress enacted into law a new medical certification process that streamlines and simplifies how a pilot may continue to exercise his or her airmen privileges despite a medical problem that might have otherwise denied them to fly under a Third Class Medical Certificate. Dr. Stover will explain how to successfully complete this new process, the qualification standards, and your airmen limitations under BasicMed.
