Title:
Risk Management in Everyday Flight
Topic:
Managing risk when flying
Speaker(s):
Coby Sena, CFI
Brief Description:
Implementing a risk management process into our everyday flying is an important aspect of increasing flight safety. The risk management process includes identifying hazards, evaluating the associated risk, and then finding ways to mitigate the risk. Join us as we look at some practical ways we, as pilots, can apply these principles in our flying, with an emphasis on pre-flight planning.
Our speaker, SCAPA member Coby Sena is a full-time CFI with a strong interest in safety and risk management. When not instructing, Coby is active in the Civil Air Patrol as an instructor pilot, Safety Officer, and Standards and Evaluation Officer.
