Brief Description:

One of the most anticipated aviation rule changes is taking effect on May 1st: finally giving pilots the ability to fly as a private pilot in a normal category aircraft without needing a medical certificate. We will look at the requirements to legally operate under BasicMed, the aircraft pilots will be allowed to operate, and the activities allowed while operation under BasicMed.
