Brief Description:
Inadvertent Flight into Instrument Meteorological Conditions (IIMC) continues to be one of the leading lethal threats to general aviation. Despite advances in aircraft and avionics, we continue to suffer IIMC related fatalities year after year. This seminar will look at the unique aspects of IIMC and why it continues to claim so many lives. SMS based IIMC survival methods including training, CRM, policy suggestions and survival techniques will be discussed.
