Brief Description:

This Safety Seminar will discuss the importance of planning and being prepared just in case you find yourself in an unexpected off field situation attempting to Survive!!!  The topics of discussion for the evening will be:

  1. Prepare your aircraft and yourself.
  2. Managing Injuries.
  3. Survival Equipment and gear (Survival Vests, GPS Tracking Devices, 406 ELT, AOA Indicator, Shoulder Harness, Airbag Seatbelts and Helmets).
  4. Getting Rescued.

The meeting will be held in the Newly renovated Fairbanks Airport Emergency Response Center
located on the SW corner of the airport off of Airport Industrial Road. The meeting will
be held in the main conference room of the FAI Airport Operations Center.
