Brief Description:

During this seminar, we will use recorded flight instruction audio and video excerpts as the basis of authentic role-play to make you a more effective instructor. Drawing on over 100 hours of recorded instructional flights, Dr. Tuccio has collaborated with Dr. Maurice Nevile (author of Beyond the Black Box: Talk-In-Interaction in the Airline Cockpit) to develop the presentation, delivered using Elizabeth Stokoe’s Conversation Analytic Role-play Method (CARM). The intended audience are Certified Flight Instructors (CFIs) and those working on their CFI.

Dr. Tuccio instructs at GT Aviation out of VKX, where he served as their Part 141 Chief Instructor; he has been instructing for over 30 years, and his doctorate is in Aviation.
