Date and Time:
Wednesday, March 29, 2017, starting at 19:30 Pacific Daylight Time Download Calendar File
Speaker(s):
Gabe DeVault, Private Pilot, Remote Pilot under Part 107
Brief Description:

Join us at the Watsonville Pilots Association to get an inside look at the commercial UAS operations in the Monterey Bay area and throughout the country.  This seminar will provide an overview and update on the commercial UAS operations in our National Airspace System and how manned aircraft can operate safely in this new age of drones.   He will discuss the importance of training for specific UAS makes and models and present data management strategies.

Gabe Devault, a commercial drone operator with Inspect Tools, has been operating drones for ten years and is excited about fostering education, outreach and co-operation between the UAS and manned aircraft communities.  Inspect Tools has operated in the United States, Canada, Estonia, China and South Korea.  They have trained dozens of operators around the world and have expert knowledge about the laws and regulations in the US and elsewhere.
