Adam Rosenberg, FAA Designated Pilot Examiner, FAASTeam Lead Representative and Boeing 757/767 pilot for a major airline will present this informative and enjoyable seminar detailing the extensive planning and execution of a flight from New York’s Kennedy Airport to Rome, Italy. Many aspects of trans-oceanic flight will be discussed from dispatch, flight planning, oceanic track navigation, communications, abnormals, emergencies and diversion strategies.
Beyond just a day in the life of an airline pilot, Adam will introduce multiple scenarios and provide extensive training on how general aviation pilots can go beyond what is required by regulations and utilize similar procedures, techniques and strategies when flight planning cross country trips under visual or instrument flight rules. After attending this seminar, you be will be ready to employ advanced flight planning and inflight strategies that make you a safer, more confident and competent pilot. You will be better prepared to confront inflight abnormalities and emergencies wherever they may occur.

DPA meetings are normally held the first Tuesday of each month at Republic Airport’s Terminal building, upstairs in the conference room, #201 at 7:30pm.
