Brief Description:
This event occurs each semester as part of the Farmingdale State College (FSC) Aviation Center Safety Management System (SMS) programs and is open only to FSC students and Aviation Center staff. FSC is part of the State University of New York (SUNY). Evening presentation will begin with safety comments from FSC Aviation Center Director, Chief Flight Instructor and Aviation Safety Officer. Guest speaker will be Mr. Hal Staniloff, Comm ASEL, AMEL, Inst, Remote Pilot, AGI, to discuss the safe implementation of small unmanned aircraft systems (sUAS) into the National Airspace System (NAS).
