Brief Description:

Join Captain Robert “Clark” Harrell as he shares is more than 30 years experiences in military and civilian aircraft. As Clark would say, “ a plane is a plane” and he will discuss the similarities of complex heavy aircraft to light general aviation aircraft. What procedures do the professions use that can enhance safety for us GA folks. What is it like and what is different about flying tin the flight levels versus the lower levels. Clark is an animated speaker who will leave you with pearls of wisdom that will add to your everyday flying.


 

Captain Robert Clark Harrell


Clark began his flying career over 30 years ago.  He has flown every aircraft (except fighters) in the Air Force and National Guard and then subsequently joined the private sector as a Captain flying business jets and has logged over 8500 hours as a pilot and over 2000 hours as an instructor. He has personally witnessed many changes in aviation, particularly the industry’s emphasis on safety and avionic technical advances.

Directions to Room: Pilots who fly in should park in transient parking on the opposite side of the field and expect to walk about 10 minutes (.5 mile) to the Flight Center. Suite 215 is upstairs in the northwest corner. On occasion, rides may be prearranged through San Carlos Aviation and Supply.
