Title:
Going Vertical with the G1000
Topic:
Going Vertical with the G1000
Brief Description:
The G1000 provides pilots with a wealth of information ranging from moving charts to aircraft traffic displays, and weather observations/forecasts to engine performance, and much, much more. Many times it feels like we are only scratching the surface on the power and capability of the G1000. In this safety seminar we will focus specifically on various G1000 features that involve the vertical dimension of flying. We will explore how the G1000 can help us maintain altitude, the features we can use when we wish to change altitude – either descending or climbing. How we can use the G1000 to help plan our descents from altitude. This will also involve exploring the features offered by the G1000 integrated autopilot, the GFC-700.
