Participate in a fun-filled skit in which volunteers manage several in-flight emergencies. All seminar attendees will have a chance to offer ideas and solutions. Great way to learn and have fun. Come a little early and enjoy the Green Acres of the Sugar Valley Airport. This privately owned paradise and host of this WINGS event will warm your heart and relax your mind. Witness a presentation of a Charles Taylor Master Mechanic Award. Light refreshments. Door prize. From Interstate 40, take exit 176. Proceed north on Farmington Road for about two miles. Turn right on Pinebrook Road which turns into Gilbert Road. Gilbert Road ends at the airport. See map link. Look for FAA Seminar signs at Pinebrook Road turning off of Farmington Road. (Easy to miss).

6:45 What Would You Do - Managing In-flight Emergencies, presented by Bob Sutherlin, FAA Safety Program Manager. You're cruising along VFR at night at 4500 feet and suddenly you find yourself in an unforecasted snow shower. You are only 15 minutes from your destination, and the nearest airport is about 45 minutes behind you with a little less than an hour of fuel remaining. What now?  You will have a chance to ponder situations like this and others with your fellow airmen. Great way to learn!
