Brief Description:

As aviators, we enjoy a lifestyle not commonly enjoyed by the people we fly over. To get to the point of being able to feel the aircraft and know what it's doing, we must understand the physics and science behind how this machine can propel us forward and leave our worries behind.

We must understand the basic mechnical workings of the engine in front us, but have you ever been exposed to the gritty details of how the engine functions? At this safety seminar, Jim Yearsich with G&N Aircraft will help us better understand the engine that makes our dreams come true, show us the future technological advances in the world of engines, and answer any questions you may have on engines.

Jim has been involved in aviation his entire life, belonging to a family who has always owned and flown aircraft. Jim began working in aviation as a line service technician during high school. He began his career at G&N while attending college at Purdue University, where obtained his Bachelors Degree. Jim is also a pilot and enjoys flying when he is able. Jim has extensive knowledge of aircraft engines and accessories and also has participated and given numerous presentations on aircraft engines at seminars, conventions and club meetings.
