Thanks to Daniel Webster College for the use of their facilities.

This presentation is sponsored by the EAA IMC Club, Nashua Chapter, and is being held in conjunction with their regular monthly meeting.  The EAA IMC Club promotes a safety culture through continued education and believes that safety and proficiency are developed through education and experience.  You do not have to be an instrument rated pilot to attend.  Membership in EAA IMC Club is encouraged, but not required.

The regulatory requirement for aircraft operators to install and use ADS-B Out equipment after January 1, 2020 has generated angst and confusion among pilots -- with good reason.  Simple issues seem to get lost in a vast universe of technical details, and some early assumptions may no longer be valid in the face of rapidly changing technology.

The objective of this seminar is to help pilots and aircraft operators understand: (a) the situations in which the ADS-B mandate applies; (b) how ADS-B works from an operational perspective; and (c) some of the ADS-B options currently available in this rapidly changing market.  At the conclusion of the seminar, participants should have a better understanding of how ADS-B works, whether they can defer installing ADS-B equipment in their airplane, and factors to consider when choosing ADS-B equipment.

Don't miss this valuable opportunity to get current with ADS-B.
