Brief Description:

The carbon monoxide detector in your plane turns dark.  Is that a concern or does it just mean it’s time to replace it?  Jackie Vazquez, an IA and A&P for over 35 years, will discuss common problems often overlooked by aircraft owners and renters during the preflight.  Topics include carbon monoxide concerns and prevention, fuel sampling before the flight, windshield clarity and cleaning, troubles caused by water leaking into the plane and lack of drainage, respecting the prop, checking your brakes before flight, checking your struts—what you should look for, and the P.O.H.—can you affort to be complacent about its use?
