Title:
Surviving L.A. Airspace
Topic:
This seminar serves as an introduction to L.A. airspace.
Date and Time:
Saturday, January 16, 2016, starting at 12:00 Pacific Standard Time Download Calendar File
Speaker(s):
Miguel Mundo
Brief Description:

If you have considered flying yourself to Los Angeles, you may have felt a bit intimated when you first looked over the Los Angeles Sectional and TAC charts. What is the best way to navigate through this airspace? It is even more complicated than our home airspace on the San Francisco TAC!

SCFC Flight Instructor Miguel Mundo presents an interactive and engaging analysis of the maze of airways, overlapping airspace, and suggested VFR flyways that make up the Los Angeles terminal area. He will discuss various arrival and departure routes so that you can safely and confidently arrive at your destination. This type of ground briefing is a must for anyone planning to make a trip into the Los Angeles area.
