Brief Description:
This FAA Safety Program is a free seminar featuring a multi-media presentation about hypoxia. This seminar will help you to identify the signs, symptoms, and types of hypoxia.  Learn what hypoxia is, how it can affect you, your flight, and what measures can be taken to prevent or treat its occurrence.  This seminar also qualifies as credit for the WINGS Program.

The doors open at 6 PM. A short WPA chapter meeting will be held at 7 PM. Mrs. Mary Ann Davis's presentation will begin shortly after the chapter meeting.

Mary Ann Davis is a registered nurse and private pilot who specializes in video productions relating to health and medical education.  This Boulder, Colorado resident has a strong interest in aviation medical issues and has served as a FAAST (FAA Safety Team) Representative for the Denver FSDO since 2001.  She is a member of the 99's, AOPA,  and has been previously active for a decade in search and rescue operations with the Colorado Civil Air Patrol.
