Allen Kam, from the National Weather Service in Seattle, is a pilot and he loves to share his weather related information with fellow pilots. This seminar covers the various observational and forecast data available to a pilot planning a flight across the Cascades. Time permitting Allen will cover the four primary warm season weather problems and their associated hazardous conditions that a pilot may encounter over the Cascades. Note: this seminar does not cover tactical planning decisions in flying the Cascades.
