Title:
Non-Towered Airports are Not Uncontrolled
Topic:
Avoiding Non-Towered Airport Traffic Conflicts
Speaker(s):
Johnny Summers
Brief Description:
THIS MEETING IS NOW OPEN TO ALL.
Just because an airport does not have a control tower, does not mean it is without structure. Following the standardized FAA structure at non-towered airports minimizes your chance of traffic conflicts. If we all follow FAA guidance other aircraft will act predictably, minimizing traffic clashes.
