Martin Boniek will be giving a presentation on his recent ferry flight of a Quest Kodiak single engine turbine aircraft from Alaska to Europe. The flight basically followed the Arctic Circle for 6000 miles eastward, crossing Canada, Greenland, Iceland and the UK. The flight included extended overwater oceanic crossings, ‘Euro Control’ ATC operations, significant IFR and icing, customs and other adventures en-route. The presentation incorporates photos and movies from the flight and should interest pilots and non-pilots alike.

Martin Boniek is a professor in the Aims Aviation Program and flys seasonally in the Alaska backcountry for a Part 135 operator.
