Scenario Based Training (SBT) training uses real-world scenarios as the foundation of the training. Flight maneuvers are still a vital part of flight training, but the use of real-world scenarios is used to also enhance the pilot’s decision making skills. The training presents situations and circumstances that pilots face everyday as learning experiences.

This training is a scenario-based approach to training pilots. It emphasizes the development of critical thinking and flight management skills, rather than solely on traditional maneuver-based skills. The goal of this training philosophy is the accelerated acquisition of higher-level decision-making skills. Such skills are necessary to prevent pilot-induced accidents. Attend this informative briefing and learn to reduce risk in flight training operations.
