As the Chinese General Sun Tzu once said, "Invincibility lies in the defense." Statistics reflect many aviation accidents could be avoided if pilots would think defensively.  Rod's program will provide valuable skills to help you make your flying safer and more enjoyable.

This event is free to the public so come join us in the hangar for the entire two days of aviation safety festivities - see California Pilots Association link at www.CalPilots.org for full details and to register.  You must register on FAASafety.gov to get WINGS credit for this event.

A noted aviation educator, author and flight instructor, Rod has the uncanny ability to strike at the truth  that pilots seldom admit.  His stories relate to common teaching issues such as the use of trim, language and communication in a pressured environment and flying an aircraft after it has incurred damage. His article, 'License to Learn: Ties that bind us' in this month's AOPA Pilot magazine on safety behaviors of general aviation pilots has an excellent safety message behind it, also.

Strap on your seatbelt and be prepared to laugh and learn with Rod Machado.
