Arriving from east of the Mississippi I-255 to Mousette Lane (exit 15). Turn west on Sauget Industrial Parkway. Continue to the airport entrance. Turn left at the airport entrance (Curtiss Steinberg Dr.) and take it to the end. Turn right on Mark Allen Dr. The training center is in Hangar 18, directly in front. Arriving from west of the Mississippi I-64/US 40 east, across Poplar St. Bridge. Illinois Route 3 South to Queeny. Follow the signs to St. Louis Downtown Parks Airport. Enter the airport (Curtiss Steinberg Dr.) and take it to the end. Turn right on Mark Allen Dr. The training center is in Hangar 18, directly in front.

AIRPORT USER MEETING Things are changing at the St. Louis Downtown Airport. The airport taxiway identification is being changed to comply with ICAO standards. Attendees with receive an explanation of the changes and a diagram of the renamed taxiways. The NCAA Men’s Final Four basketball tournament will be held at the Edward Jones Dome, April 2 – 4. Special airport and airtraffic procedures will be in effect to handle the anticipated increase in air traffic for that event. Those procedures will be briefed at the meeting. OPERATION RAINCHECK The St. Louis Downtown Airport Air Traffic Control Tower will conduct Operation Raincheck. This is an opportunity for the air traffic service to interact directly with users in an informal setting. Representatives from the CPS ATCT and St. Louis TRACON will be present to answer questions and discuss procedures at the Downtown Airport, and the St. Louis area. For the convenience of users, the programs are each being presented twice. The first is from 1 to 3 P.M., the second is from 7 to 9 P.M. The information presented will be the same at both presentations. Drive in or fly in. This seminar is open to all interested individuals. Reservations are not required however those wishing to register for seating may do so at: FAASafety.gov.
