Brief Description:
This presentation will explore the similarities and differences between Legacy and Modern avionics systems as well as introduction to ADS-B and the 2020 requirements.  Emphasis will be placed on the relationship between airframe components and cockpit display, as well as, ADS-B / panel mounted display options.  Ample time will be allotted for specific questions.

This seminar will be hosted by Fly There LLC, and presented by Matt Saban of Mobile Avionics Inc.  Matt is Chief Inspector / Training Director for Mobile Avionics Inc, as well as a business owner.  He holds a Commercial Multi Instrument pilots license, Flight Engineer - Turbojet (B727, DC-8) Certificate,  Mechanic Certificate with A&P / IA privileges, and Radio / Instrument Repairman certificates, in addition to being a former CFI.  Since 1993, Matt has served as a FAR part 135 director of maintenance, FBO manager, Chief Flight Instructor, and shop foreman with various local companies.  He also has international flight experience operating as a FAR part 121 airline pilot for a carrier servicing the Americas as well as European and African continents.
