The Wide Area Augmentation System isn't like your father's GPS anymore. The Global Positioning System has changed, and for the better. Now it's more than just having an ILS approach into your back yard. This talk will start with an overview of pre-WAAS GPS IFR navigation, discuss the WAAS equipment, the new approaches that are now enabled, and how the regulations affect its use.
