Pilot Deviations continue to be on the rise. Tonight's program will give an indepth look at the process - what happens when a pilot deviation occurs - how the intercept procedures begin. As part of your preflight preparation, a pilot should consult Notams and actively seek TFR information. Tonight's speaker, Carol McAteer, is an Aviation Safety Technician with the PHL FSDO 17. Carol will address how to avoid Temporary Flight Restrictions and what to do if you find you are in the middle of one. This is vital information to the Safety of Flight.

The second presentation, THE CHECKRIDE, will given by Inspector Robert Drapala. Inspector Drapala will address the Practical Test Standards. What does an Inspector look for in an applicant during a checkride. The Standards for successful completion will be examined. Bring your questions. Take the mystery out of preparing for and taking a checkride.
