As part of our ongoing monthly safety seminars, this free FAA Safety Program "WINGS" seminar focuses on communications with the controllers at Grand Junction Tower.  Learn what the expectations are for both pilots and controllers and how to prevent communications errors.

Riff Rigg, a Grand Junction Tower Controller, will describe procedures used at the airport. He will discuss the use of Class D airspace, ground movement, radio frequency use, how to approach the airport, and how to best utilize the overall ATC system. Pilots will have the opportunity to ask Jeff about the services that ATC provides.  Jeff will also describe the new terminology for taxi instructions instituted on June 30th.
