Additional Event Information & Acknowledgement of Industry Sponsor(s):
You probably have noticed that flying is getting more complex. This is also true in determining the capabilities and condition of an aircraft before you go flying. Whether you own or rent, as the Pilot in Command you have a lot of responsibility in knowing your aircraft and assessing the condition it is in and what you may and may not do when operating it.
The speaker, Tom Gilbert is a certified Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic (A&P) with Inspection Authority (IA) and has worked as a mechanic at Braden Airpark for 25 years. Tom also holds a Private pilot certificate.
Bill VanArtsdalen, the ABE FSDO FAASTeam Program Manager and a FAASTeam representative will be available to answer questions concerning the Wings Program.
