Brief Description:
Summer weather provides an excellent opportunity for flying over the Cascade Mountains to Eastern Washington.  Are you properly prepared?  CFI Damian Peters will discuss preparing to fly over mountainous terrain, including the best use of available weather information sources.

From I-5, take the 128th St (exit #186), go west on 128th St for approx 2 miles to Hwy 99, 128th St SW becomes Airport Rd, stay on Airport Rd to the Paine Field entrance, turn Left onto 100th St SW and go to the first stop sign, turn left and the street dead ends into our parking lot.  Hangar C-51.

Damian will review which sources of weather information will best aid you in determining how to fly over mountainous terrain. He will provide insights on how to plan your flight utilizing aircraft performance charts and navigational charts to make the best go-no-go decision.
