The hot summer months are almost here. Come and join CFI Damian Peters in a discussion on how to prepare for hot weather flying.  We will review high density altitude performance and the variety of weather information sources available to help you make those critical pre-flight decisions.

From I-5, take the 128th St (exit #186), go west on 128th St for approx 2 miles to Hwy 99, 128th St SW becomes Airport Rd, stay on Airport Rd to the Paine Field entrance, turn Left onto 100th St SW and go to the first stop sign, turn left and the street dead ends into our parking lot.

Damian will define density altitude. Discuss with you how density altitude affects your aircraft and engine performance. We will review which sources of weather information will best aid you in determining whether or not you should fly or delay your flight. Damian will provide insights on how to plan your high density altitude flight, utilizing aircraft performance charts and navigational charts to make the best go-no-go decision.
