Additional Event Information & Acknowledgement of Industry Sponsor(s):

The afternoon's event will consist of 4 presentations of about 40 minutes apiece. Each segment will include a short video focusing on an aspect of airmen safety, accompanied by discussions about how the topic applies to the local area. This is an FAA Safety Team standardized event taking place at airports throughout the U.S on this date. "One day, one message, nation-wide coverage."

The "Wings" program will begin at 1:00 (registration starts at 12:40 pm) with a review of General Aviation accident data (why we are here), and how risk management can be applied if airmen are aware of safety issues and concerns.

The 4 topic modules in video format will be:
1. Loss of Control;
2. Surface Deviations;
3. Managing the Risk of Part 91 Flying; and
4. Getting Your Aircraft Ready For Summer Flying … Maintenance a Pilot Can Do.
