Brief Description:

Safely coordinating dissimilar aeronautical activities lies in the knowledge and skill of the participants. From flight training to skydiving, in this seminar we'll identify the unique demands and procedures various activities require and discuss how we can all use the sky and airports together safely.

Specific types of aeronautical operations to be addressed include: flight instruction, aerobatic training, helicopter operations, skydiving, airline and military flight paths, hot air balloons, ultralights, and aerial applicators (crop dusters). Emphasis will be given to regulations, airspace requirements and "recommended" procedures as published by various government and industry sources.

This seminar is sponsored by the City of Lincoln and the Lincoln Regional Airport (Karl Harder Field); presented by the Lincoln Regional Aviation Association in cooperation with the FAA Safety Team.

Doors open at 1:00, Seminar begins at 1:30 pm. The program will end around 3:00 pm but you are invited to stay as long as you like for after-session discussions and fellowship.
