Additional Event Information & Acknowledgement of Industry Sponsor(s):

The Glens Falls Pilots Association has generously made this safety meeting available to everyone.

The DCA ADIZ has recently changed, there are new boundaries and operational requirements. If you are going to be flying near or into the ADIZ you need to come to this informative meeting. We will discuss what you need to know, where to find it, and how to comply with the new rule. There are many ways to end up being escorted to a landing  at a location you had not planned to visit. And, if you find yourself in that undesirable situation, you may additionally be required to take a break from all flying for a while!

Dick Bovey might give us some pointers and updates from his point of view as a Designated Pilot Examiner and FAASTeam Lead Representative . Jeff Wasileski and Jim Leavitt from the FAASTeam will be there to talk about low altitude maneuvering and stalls, not a great combination. (not Jeff and Jim, low altitude and stalls). Jeff will probably have a few minutes to provide answers to your aircraft maintenance questions.

It's going to be a great meeting, come and join us!
