Brief Description:

Stalls and spins still account for a large number of general aviation accidents.  Airspeed indicators are an imprecise way of alerting pilots to impending stalls.  Understanding angle of attack and the using modern angle of attack indicators offer an improved way for pilots to not only have precise knowledge of impending stall conditions, but also to have guidance for the most efficient approach and climb angles of attack.
